The mb 29.20 caliber that Montblanc made for the occasion contains a fantastic manufacture complication called "Orbis Terrarum."
The "Orbis Terrarium" complication works as follows: the dial is divided into three areas: the hours (top), the localities (second section) and the planisphere with the difference between day and night (Bottom).
The "dauphine "hand with rhodium finish should indicate your reference time zone which should correspond with the exact time.
By rotating the crown, you will be able to conveniently do this, but here's the kicker...Once the reference time zone has been set, simply push the bottom left button to "climb" one time zone.
Automatically, the "Orbis Terrarum" complication will rotate the dial one notch. and if there is a difference between the two time zones between day and night, the watch will show it to you. Something that, in person, is truly wonderful to watch.
